1. Independent, not an agency
World Cruise Jobs is an independent careers information and coaching service. We are not a recruitment or placement agency, not a Recruitment and Placement Service licensed by the Directorate General of Shipping, and not a recruiting agent under the Emigration Act, 1983. We do not recruit, shortlist, place or employ anyone.
2. Cruise lines and trademarks
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any cruise line or its hiring partners. Cruise line names, ship names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify the jobs they have published.
3. Job listings
Listings are collected from the cruise lines' public careers pages and checked often, but a job can close, change or be filled at any time. The cruise line's own page is always the authority. Dates are shown in India time.
4. Salaries and figures
Pay ranges are industry estimates in US dollars a month, converted to rupees at an approximate rate. Real pay, contract length and benefits are set by the cruise line in its offer.
5. Guidance, not guarantees
Resume scores, job matches, document plans, Meera's AI guidance and our experts' advice are given in good faith to help you prepare. They don't guarantee a shortlist, interview, job or visa, and they aren't legal, immigration or medical advice. Check requirements with the official authority (DG Shipping, the passport office, the US consulate) and the cruise line.
6. Videos and opinions
Videos and posts by our founder and experts share personal experience and opinions from working at sea. Experiences differ between cruise lines, ships and roles.
7. Beware of job fraud
Genuine cruise lines and licensed hiring partners don't charge candidates for a job. Never pay anyone who promises a job, a guaranteed interview or a joining letter in exchange for money.
