1. About these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and World Cruise Jobs ("World Cruise Jobs", "we", "us"), which runs this website. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refunds and cancellations policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and don't need a physical or digital signature.

2. We are not a recruitment agency

World Cruise Jobs does not recruit, place or employ anyone, and does not act for any cruise line. We are not a Recruitment and Placement Service (RPSL) licensed by the Directorate General of Shipping, nor a recruiting agent registered under the Emigration Act, 1983.

• Job listings are collected from the cruise lines' own public careers pages. Every Apply button opens the official page, where applying is always free.
• We never charge for a job, an interview, a placement, a visa or a joining letter, and nothing you pay us changes any hiring decision. Cruise lines and their licensed hiring partners decide who they hire.
• Cruise line names and logos belong to their owners. Their appearance on the website doesn't mean they are connected with or endorse us.
• If anyone asks you for money in exchange for a cruise job, it is a warning sign of fraud. Please report it through our contact form.

3. Who can use the website, and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy anything. Browsing jobs and checking a resume don't need an account.

• Give your real name and an email address you can read. Keep your password secret and don't share your account.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used it; you can sign out every other device from My account > Security and privacy.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or puts other members at risk. Where the law allows, we will tell you why.

4. What we offer

Free: the job board and every Apply link, the resume checker (score, fixes, keywords and suggested rewrites), the jobs matched to your resume, the resume builder's editor and live score, and our chat assistant.

Paid, with wallet credits: each tool opens for 7 days for the role you choose:

• Resume builder: your finished, recruiter-ready resume PDF, 100 credits.
• AI assistance: Meera, our AI guide, walks you through an application form and answers your questions, 150 credits.
• Document checker: every document you need for the role, where to get it, how long it takes and in what order, 200 credits.
• A written question to our expert team: 20 credits.
• The Crew Pass: ₹2,000 for 30 days, with unlimited use of the three tools, free expert questions and 2 private 1-on-1 video sessions. It does not renew automatically.

We may change, add or retire features. A change never takes away a tool or pass you have already paid for during its paid period.

5. Credits, prices and payments

• 1 credit = ₹1. Wallet top-ups start at ₹100. Prices are shown in Indian rupees; a dollar figure, where shown, is an estimate.
• We are not registered under GST at present, so no GST is added to your payment. If that changes, checkout will show any tax before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password.
• Credits are added to your wallet as soon as the payment is confirmed. They don't expire, have no cash value, can't be transferred to another person and can only be spent on World Cruise Jobs.
• Prices can change, but a change never affects credits you already hold or a tool or pass you have already unlocked.
• If a payment is taken twice, or money leaves your account but no credits arrive, we refund it. See the Refunds and cancellations policy.

6. Meera and the other AI features

Meera is an AI guide, not a person. Her guidance, the resume scores, keyword suggestions and job matches are produced by software, using rules we wrote and, for some answers, AI language models run by our technology providers.

• They can be wrong or out of date. Check important facts (fees, documents, visa rules, salaries) with the official source, the cruise line or its hiring partner.
• You fill in and submit every application form yourself. Meera never submits anything for you, and you are responsible for what you write in it.
• Don't paste passwords, card numbers, passport scans or other people's private information into the AI features.

7. Expert questions and 1-on-1 sessions

• Our experts are people with real cruise and hospitality experience. Their advice is guidance, not a promise of a job or interview.
• We aim to answer written questions within one working day.
• Sessions are booked in India time. Cancel at least 12 hours ahead to keep your session. If you miss a session without telling us, it counts as used.
• If an expert has to cancel, we offer another time or restore your session.
• Sessions are not recorded unless both sides agree at the start.
• Be respectful. We may end a session or close an account if an expert is abused or harassed.

8. What you must not do

• Break any law, or use the website to defraud, deceive or recruit people for money.
• Upload false documents or certificates, or someone else's resume or personal data without their permission.
• Copy, scrape or download the job board or our content with bots or scripts, or resell our tools or content.
• Try to get around payment, access to paid tools, rate limits or security, or probe, scan or overload our systems.
• Upload viruses or harmful code, or content that is hateful, obscene, threatening or infringes someone else's rights.

9. Your content and our content

Your resumes, messages and other content stay yours. You allow us to store and process them only to provide the services to you, as the Privacy Policy explains. You confirm that what you give us is true and that you have the right to share it.

The website's design, text, software, the World Cruise Jobs name and the Ganesh coin logo belong to us or our licensors. Job listing details belong to the cruise lines that published them. You may print or download pages for your own job search, but not copy or republish them.

10. Other websites

We link to cruise line careers pages and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices, so read them before applying or sharing information.

11. No guarantees

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it "as is". Listings can close or change without notice, salary figures are industry estimates, and we can't guarantee that you will be shortlisted, interviewed or hired. See the full Disclaimer.

12. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost earnings or job opportunities, or for decisions made by cruise lines, hiring partners or authorities. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Your responsibility to us

If you break these terms or the law while using the website, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim.

14. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from My account > Security and privacy. Unused credits bought in the last 30 days can be refunded first; see the refunds policy. We may close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (payments already made, content ownership, liability and disputes) continue after an account is closed.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we will tell signed-in members by email or on the website before they take effect.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please contact our Grievance Officer first; most problems are solved quickly that way. Any dispute that can't be resolved is subject to the courts at New Delhi, India, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
